We are currently experiencing a severe skills crisis in the industry, and experienced chefs or front of house staff are hard to come by. If you have skills and would like to talk about available placement with some of Bristol’s best food businesses, please get in touch.

Dog Town – Kitchen Manager – £22,000 – £23,000 a year. Dog Town is a vibrant and experimental kitchen making the best Hot Dogs in the city. Along with hand cut fries and a range of beer slushies – everything is crafted and created inside our shipping container restaurant!
You will be responsible for the day to day operations of our busy, independent restaurant based at Wapping Wharf on Bristol’s waterfront. The successful candidate will have previous experience in team leadership and delivering a menu to excellent standards. As a leader of a small team you will require good interpersonal skills and confidence in your ability to create a positive work ethic and environment for your team.

Papadeli – We are looking for an experienced full-time Pastry Chef at Papadeli. It will be to fulfil catering orders, making creative & original cakes, tray bakes and sweet items for the deli. We will need someone who is interested in all aspects of the kitchen, be super imaginative with ingredients and be flexible and happy to work in other sections of the kitchen when needed. So the job may have a 4 day pastry 1 day savoury split. This is a great opportunity to develop skills, work with high-quality ingredients, make everything from scratch and be creative. Would need to be happy as part of a friendly team and also an independent worker who’s good at thinking on your feet. This would be between 40 hours a week over a 5 day period and usually Monday to Friday but also very occasional evenings, weekends and events if and when needed. May develop into more hours if this is what you are looking for.
